Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 26, 2026

The short version: this website does not use analytics, tracking pixels, advertising cookies, or any other trackers, and it does not set cookies. We never sell or share your personal information for advertising. The only personal information we receive is what you choose to send us, and we use it only to respond to you.

This policy explains how Pinnacle Desert Advisors ("we," "us") handles information on pinnacledesertadvisors.com and when you contact us. It is intended to comply with the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA) and to explain the choices available to you under U.S. state privacy laws.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. We collect personal information only when you choose to send it:

Please don't send sensitive information (such as Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, or passwords) through the form or email. We don't ask for it and we don't need it to prepare a quote.

Information collected automatically. We don't run analytics or tracking of any kind. Like every website, our pages are delivered by a hosting provider (Cloudflare) that necessarily receives your IP address and basic technical details of each request (such as browser type and the page requested) in order to deliver the site and protect it from attacks and abuse. We don't use this information to identify you, profile you, or advertise to you.

2. Cookies and local storage

This site does not set any cookies, and it does not use tracking or advertising cookies, analytics, web beacons, or similar technologies. When you first visit, a banner asks for your choice. If you click Accept or Decline, we save only that choice in your browser's local storage (under the name pda-consent) so we don't ask again. It stays on your device, is never sent to us, and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings or change it using .

Our fonts and images are hosted on our own site, so viewing our pages doesn't send requests to Google Fonts or other third-party services. If you open our Google Form or follow a link to Instagram, those sites are operated by Google and Meta and may use their own cookies under their own privacy policies.

3. How we use your information

We won't add you to a mailing list or send you marketing emails unless you separately and expressly ask us to. Any marketing email we ever send will identify us, include our contact information, and include a simple way to unsubscribe.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral (targeted) advertising. We don't use your information for targeted advertising or profiling, and we don't collect sensitive personal information.

We use a small number of service providers that process information on our behalf, only to run our website and communications:

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business (in which case this policy would continue to apply to it).

5. How long we keep it and how we protect it

We keep inquiry information only as long as reasonably needed to respond to you and keep ordinary business records, and we'll delete it sooner if you ask, unless we're legally required to keep it. Our site is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we use reasonable measures to protect the information you send us.

6. Your privacy choices and rights

Depending on where you live, privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) and the consumer privacy laws of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and other states may give you rights over your personal information. Some of these laws apply only to businesses above certain size or data-volume thresholds. Regardless of whether any particular law applies to us, we offer the following to every visitor:

How to make a request: email [email protected] with the subject "Privacy Request" and tell us what you'd like. To protect your information, we may need to confirm your identity, usually by replying to the email address you gave us. An authorized agent can make a request for you with your written permission. We'll respond within 45 days.

Appeals: if we decline your request, you can appeal by replying with the subject "Privacy Appeal," and we'll respond in writing with our decision and the reasons for it. If you're still not satisfied, you may contact your state attorney general.

7. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Because this site doesn't track visitors across sites or over time, there's no tracking for a "Do Not Track" signal to turn off. We treat both Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control (GPC) the same way: as a request to opt out. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we automatically record your choice as "Decline" and don't show the consent banner. We also don't allow third parties to collect personal information about your online activities over time on our site.

8. Children's privacy

This website is meant for business owners and is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16). We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we'll delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll post the updated version on this page and update the effective date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use information you've already given us, we'll ask for your consent first.
